The South Sioux City Education Center is a joint effort by Northeast Community College and Wayne State College to meet the post-secondary and vocational education needs of northeast Nebraska students. BCDM assisted with site selection, master planning and implementation of the first building, the College Center.
The overall site design gives considerable emphasis to placement of the College Center to create prominence, establish future traffic flow and allow orderly growth. It houses classrooms (general purpose, science, nursing), business & industry seminar space, student services, a library and a bookstore.
