Bringing disciplines together

The concept of bringing departments and disciplines together to make real connections — and emphasizing each other’s success as a learning place — have been at the forefront of the design team’s mind based on the vision and mission for Southeast Community College. Perkins+Will and BCDM have worked alongside with SCC to ensure that the new Health Sciences Building reflects the paradigm shift in learning — from didactic instruction to an inclusive hands-on approach in a unique manner of co-locating these 12 programs together into one new home.
